Home Maintenance
Maintaining your Stainless Steel

The stain resistance of Stainless Steel comes from an extremely thin self-repairing film which forms on its surface. Please see below for more information about how to maintain yours and your customers Stainless Steel:

  • To clean Stainless Steel, use a soap or mild detergent, for example SUNLIGHT LIQUID® in warm water
  • Apply using a soft cloth or synthetic sponge
  • Rinse in hot water
  • Dry with a soft cloth or allow to 'drip' dry
  • The use of a mild household cleaner (HANDY ANDY®) and fine synthetic scourer (green SCOTCH-BRITE®) or a brush with nylon bristles may be used
  • Repeated routine gentle cleaning is more effective than a single aggressive cleaning
